My husband and I traveled to Cozumel for a long weekend just recently and found a fantastic place to stay – The Coral Reef Inn. The newly renovated Inn is an oasis in the heart of Cozumel. The rooms were quite comfortable, extremely clean and included AC, an amazing shower and English channels on the TV. In addition, we had access to a roof top lounge area with great views of the city. Awesome breezes made this lounge area a perfect retreat when not diving or enjoying the local culture and restaurants. The lounge area also included a shared kitchen stocked for convenience with the necessary dishes and utensils required to make and enjoy our own meals. With a grocery store conveniently situated just down the street from the Inn, we were able to take advantage of this area and save a few dollars. The owners of the Coral Reef Inn were gracious hosts and had a ton of knowledge related to the best dive options, restaurants and local culture. We were treated like family from the moment we arrived. I would definitely recommend the Coral Reef Inn to anyone visiting Cozumel. This place is a gem and I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.
