My husband and I stayed for 10 days at the Coral Reef Inn (late Sept. '09). Leona and Jerry could not have been nicer...attentive in every way. The Inn is quite lovely and spotless...bright accent colors and artwork including a beautiful underwater mural and waterfall viewable from the second floor. The bathroom shower was wonderful and our room cleaned and linens changed reqularly. The kitchen on the third floor has everything you would need to prepare your own meal. We enjoyed breakfast up there almost every day and late evenings on the adjacent rooftop area was a great place to relax and watch the stars. There are many restaurants and tacquerias within several blocks (J&L provided a list and map). Some of our favorites were Costa Brava (sidewalk dining was cooler), Los Girasoles (breakfast), Las Tortugas (awesome seafood platter). Two great supermarkets were just a few blocks away. We frequented the deli area at MEGA quite often to pack picnic lunches for the beach (great grilled chicken). The church across the street was beautiful especially at night when it was all lit up...and the park with gazebo was a great place to relax after a long day at the beach. Would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful inn with its most gracious innkeepers.
