We stayed at the Coral Reef Inn for 10 days and felt right at home. The rooms are clean, comfortable and the tile showers where awesome after a long day of diving. The location is 3 blocks from the waterfront, supermarkets and dive pier, which we found to be an asset, just far enough off the beaten path to truly enjoy our vacation. It was an ideal place to stay! We perticularily liked the adults only atmosphere. It was nice not having kids around on our vacation. We took advantage of the recommendations and had some really great mexican food, my favorite was a taqueria 2 blocks from the hotel called Nemo's, excellent tacos al pastor. The shared kitchen on the 3 floor was the best part of our stay, it always had a nice breeze and the views where amazing especially the sunrise and sunsets. The kitchen had everything one would need to prepare a gourmet meal or BBQ something in a snap. There was plenty of purified drinking water and ice available for free along with the necessary condiments to help make meals without the hassle of buying everything from scratch. They have an honor bar and always a few cold beers in the fridge. The wireless internet worked great no matter where I tried it. We rented a jeep from Less Pay for 3 days and spent some time on the other side of the Island, where you will find a handful of bars/restuarants right on the beach, don't miss out on the photo albums at Coconuts! The owners live on the main floor and are there to answer questions and give advice whenever needed, other than that they pretty much let you be on your vacation. |
