Our second stay with Jerry and Leona at the Coral Reef Inn was even better than the first! We have been travelling all over the world for the past 15 years and this is the first place we have been to twice. Why? It is like a second home. The rooms are simple but clean and smell good too. I point that out because it smelled musty at the more expensive all inclusive we stayed at in Playa Del Carmen at the beginning of our trip. If you like to cook, like we do, you will love the shared kitchen and the walking distance to TWO great grocery stores. If you don't feel like cooking, Jerry and Leona can recommend places from simple to grand. Its a great location for a walk into town or an inexpensive taxi ride. You won't find better hosts than Jerry and Leona!
